Dan Reitar. Born (in 1984) and raised in Montbéliard, in Northern East of France, Dan started to get interested in EDM in 1998, listening to the weekly Essential Mixes from BBC Radio1, and more specifically in Trance, listening to the daily mixes he heard on Couleur 3 (Switzerland radio), at the Trance Escape how and live broadcasts from Trance events around the world. In 1999, he bought his first CDs, releases of Ferry Corsten's project, Gouryella.

In 2002, he began to mix with a pair of decks and a mixer (the story starts here). Dan joined the team of 99.2 FM, France Northern East local radio, in 2003, as a sound Technician for a weekly music program. 6 months later, he got his own show every Saturday in the late afternoon, spreading House, commercial and underground Trance music imported from Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands and collaborating with local disc store and clubs.

Trance Spirit

In 2007, and 130 episodes later, he created a new show, Trance Spirit, broadcasting the best of Trance and Progressive music.

Since then he has welcomed in his show Ferry Corsten, Airbase, Jorn Van Deynhoven, Suncatcher, Arctic Moon and Fast Distance among others and he has participated in many events including “End Of Year Countdown” , “Uplift Day”and “11 Days Of Trance”.

His favorite motto: “Trance is not just a kind of music, it’s a lifestyle.”
